Questions? You’re Not the Only One

Here are a few things I get asked often—answered with zero judgment and total honesty.

What kinds of dogs do you work with?

I specialize in working with dogs who are reactive, fearful, anxious, or just extra sensitive. Whether your dog barks at everything on walks, freezes up around strangers, or can’t settle at home—I’ve likely helped someone in your shoes.

Do you use punishment, e-collars, or prong collars?

Nope. I use force-free, positive reinforcement methods only. That means no pain, no fear, and no tools that hurt. I focus on building trust and reducing stress—for both of you.

What’s the difference between day training and virtual coaching?

In day training, I work directly with your dog multiple times a week (without you needing to be there), then meet with you once a week to transfer the skills. In virtual coaching, I guide you through the work step by step with regular check-ins and support. Both options include a custom plan and ongoing communication.

What if my dog doesn’t like strangers?

That’s totally okay—and common. If your dog is fearful or reactive toward new people, we can often start with virtual sessions to build a foundation. I’ll meet you both where you’re at, literally and emotionally.

What areas do you serve for in-person training?

I offer in-person day training in Seattle neighborhoods including Ballard, Greenwood, Phinney Ridge, Wallingford, Fremont, and the University District. Not sure if you’re in range? Reach out and ask.

How do I get started?

Easy. Just request a consult and tell me a little about your dog. I’ll follow up personally to schedule our first call or session.
